Online Tutorials

I don't know if anyone is using Flash for their movies, but I found a super easy tutorial on how to import a series of images into Flash (to create a stop motion). I also found a tutorial about batch processing in Photoshop. About.com has links to tons of other tutorials that might help you guys if you get stuck on something (I'm sure you can search for help with any of the programs that you're using).

So I've been working on this assignment since my last post on Wednesday and I am nowhere closer to the finish line.

To be quite honest, I don't see how I am expected to make a video without someone teaching me how to use basic video making programs.

I have no prior experience making videos. I think it would make sense for someone to present a tutorial on how to make a sample video.

Words fail to express my frustration and disappointment about working on this video.

Needless to say, I don't have a solid video to present.

video attempt

Just so somebody knows, I am having great difficulty saving my video. I tried multiple flash drives but it will not save. I tried posting it here but I cannot get it to work.

For the time being, I will save it on the desktop of one of the computers in the Brooks computer lab.

Stop Motion

Posting a video so everyone can aspire to do something that's pretty well unachievable in our timeframe, wee.

i went to high school with these guys. most of their videos they did when they were still in high school for projects and stuff but the stop motion is still pretty crazy anyway.

These guys didnt make this video but they have worked on some projects together with the girls who did. The girls made the stop motion video a white board in one of their classrooms at school - pretty easy and cheap!

Art to Wear

EVERYONE! I strongly encourage you guys to participate in the art to wear showcasing our headdresses.

I mean think about it. Your work on center stage. Isn't this every designer's dream?

Vita Plume (Art to Wear coordinator) is looking for First Year students to participate in the opening for the show.

The concept is simple. All you have to do is walk on stage with your hat.

Again, it IS that easy

There is an interest meeting for those who want to attend. Please attend this meeting in Kathleen's studio at 6 pm to let us know who is interested.

I hope you guys choose to do it! I know you will regret/ be jealous if you're not in it. I mean really, when is this opportunity gonna come again (NEVER) ?

Did anyone see any really good examples of art and design from your spring break travels? Anything that applies to children's play?
