Self Critique - Scroll Book

I thought my prototype was a decent representation of my final project: obviously my craftsmanship, materials, and overall execution will be neater, more precise, and aesthetically pleasing. The prototype functioned just as well as the final product will. I am sticking to my idea and possibly tweaking minor details such as wood type, curve of wood joints, type of handle, etc. overall I am happy with my idea.
