Self-Critique

While the paper from which I made the prototype was too heavy, this raw rendition allowed me to work out how I would illustrate each page of my book. The prototype also showed me that the pieces which enabled the sliding function of each page were so complex they should really have been laser cut. While the spiral binding of my prototype could be improved upon, I feel that investigating this idea has shown me how I would like the binding and structure of my book to operate.
